Freight Charges on Purchases

Freight Policy – Effective 1st January 2021

1.0 Standard Road Freight

1.1 Standard road freight is included for all purchases where the total order value exceeds $100 AUD.

1.2 For orders with a total value less than $100 AUD, a handling and shipping fee of $25 will be added to the final order value.

1.3 The freight provider is chosen by PAVT.

1.4 All orders that include free shipping will be shipped in full or in part at the discretion of PAVT.

1.5 Delivery schedules are subject to availability.

1.6 For account customers, their account must be current. For non-account holders, PAVT must receive cleared funds prior to dispatch.

2.0 Delivery Conditions

2.1 If the specified consignee is unavailable to accept the goods, anyone at the delivery address will be presumed authorized to receive the goods on their behalf.

2.2 Alternate transport methods will be at the customer’s expense.

2.3 Freight companies will not leave goods unsigned for. Please specify delivery times to avoid additional charges.

2.4 ETA on deliveries are estimates only and cannot be guaranteed.

3.0 Additional Freight Charges

3.1 If no one is in attendance at the time of delivery and a card is left, an additional fee will be invoiced separately.

3.2 Re-delivery of items to a different address than specified on the original purchase order will incur an additional fee invoiced separately.

3.3 Refusal at the delivery point will incur a re-delivery fee.

3.4 Any order that is part-shipped at the request of the customer will incur an additional freight charge.

4.0 Expedited Freight

4.1 International Freight: PAVT reserves the right to bring in items from suppliers in the most economical way. This will be advised at the quote stage or at the time of placing the order. If expedited shipping is required, a fee may be incurred. Please discuss this with your Account Manager.

4.2 Local Freight: Goods can be shipped via an expedited service upon request. The additional cost for expedited shipping within Australia will be added to the invoice, or you may organize your own freight.

Conditions of Sale

Version 1.2 Effective 1st August 2023

5.1 Invoices can be paid by EFT, cheque, Visa, or Mastercard. All cheques should be made payable to the company. Please note a 1.5% surcharge applies to all credit card payments.

5.2 No claims will be recognized after 14 days from the delivery date. Returns will not be accepted without prior approval.

5.3 Freight damage must be reported within 24 hours of delivery. Any claims must include high-resolution photos of the damage.

5.4 Back-order quantities will be shipped when available.

5.5 The buyer is fully liable for all goods supplied but will not receive title/ownership until PAVT receives payment in full.

Sale or Return (SOR)

6.1 Sale or Return (SOR) equipment is supplied for customer trials with the intent to purchase. All items sent on SOR remain the property of PAVT until returned by the consignee/customer or invoiced to them.

6.2 SOR items are sent in good faith at no cost. Return freight to PAVT is the consignee’s/customer’s responsibility. Items must be returned undamaged, in their original packaging, with all included manuals and accessories.

6.3 Missing items upon return will be invoiced to the consignee/customer.

6.4 The consignee/customer is responsible for agreeing on a return timeframe with their PAVT Sales Representative. If this timeframe lapses without a new agreement, the item will be invoiced at full cost.

6.5 The consignee/customer may purchase the item at any time.

6.6 By accepting the SOR item, the consignee/customer agrees to these terms and conditions.

Product Returns Policy

Version 1.4 Effective 1st February 2021

7.1 Change of Mind: Products must be returned unopened and fully sealed in their original packaging within 7 days of receipt. No restocking fee applies. Opened products will incur a 20% restocking fee.

7.2 Products Returned Within 7 to 90 Days: Products returned between 7 and 90 days of receipt will incur a 20% restocking fee. Items must be unopened and fully sealed in their original packaging.

7.3 Products Returned After 90 Days: No refunds will be issued for products returned more than 90 days after receipt.

7.4 Special Order Products: Special order items cannot be returned once they leave the manufacturer. This includes large-quantity orders. Please confirm details with your sales representative before ordering.

7.5 Shipping Charges: Shipping charges for returns or exchanges are non-refundable. The buyer is responsible for shipping costs and assumes all risk of loss or damage during transit.

7.6 Return Authorization (RMA): No items can be returned without an RMA. Goods must be reciepted into PAVT warehouse within 7 days of RMA issue date. To obtain a RMA, please call 03 9264 8000 or email admin@pavt.com.au.
